How many call-outs do you make to add a number or correct a pulse duration, when they could be done remotely, before you even get in the van?
A number to add, a pulse duration to correct, a customer who has lost a remote control. They are all call-outs nobody pays for. With this device they are done remotely, and the customer can do them on their own.
A DIN rail module, the terminals for the opening command, and the phone. The module is mounted next to the control unit and connected to the contact where the remote control receiver is wired today: it is a job for an electrician or a gate automation installer.
BGates AI 4G is a module that the installer fits in the gate’s electrical panel, with the 4G SIM already inside. From then on the gate opens with a phone call, or from the app.

One command, and the device tells you how it is doing
Signal, firmware version, relay status, device time, how many numbers it has in its list. These are replies from the device, not server estimates, and they arrive while you are still in the workshop.
It replaces the phone call in which you ask the customer to read something they cannot find.
Where the signal is weak you need the external antenna, which is in the price list: it pays to keep one in the van rather than coming back.
Presence is shown by the device’s own connection to our servers: when it switches on or drops off, the list in the management software shows it in real time, and as soon as it is back online the device reports its version, mode and relay status on its own.
It saves you from setting off for a fault that is actually a power cut, and tells you before you ring at the gate whether the problem is ours or the line’s.

For the customer: €69.00 incl. VAT for BGates AI 4G, plus the BGates SIM: Smart at €3.99 per month incl. VAT or Business at €6.99 per month + VAT paying yearly, and the one-off activation (€9.99 Smart, €29.99 + VAT Business).
If you do the activation, there is only one plan, Business paid yearly. The installer does not pay online: the device starts working straight away and the invoice comes from us.
Margins, resale terms and the trade price list are not published on a web page: they are agreed with us, device by device and volume by volume.
Calls still work: the authorised numbers are also stored on the device, and the device opens for anyone calling from one of them as long as there is signal for a phone call. What stops are the app, the web and remote changes, which resume on their own when the connection returns. Automatic fallback of commands to SMS, however, does not exist.
With the device off, nothing happens: the product has no documented backup battery, and we do not promise one. When the power returns, the device reconnects on its own and carries on, including any changes still queued.
Scan the QR code on the device label and choose the plan. The device is not registered to you: you assign it to the customer from the management software, and your number is not authorised on their gate.
From then on you see it in your management software together with the others you look after: status, settings, device groups to send the same configuration to. Firmware updates are sent by us, remotely.
