For the installer
Wiring diagrams
The wiring diagrams of the BGates devices. Installation is work on the electrical panel: it is done by an installer.
BGates AI 4G
Wiring diagrams
The most common uses, one diagram each. Tap a diagram to open it full size. The full specifications are on the BGates AI 4G page, all the steps in the full guide (PDF, 3.3 MB).
01
Pulse
NO and C to the START or PEDESTRIAN input of the control unit, in parallel with the push button or key switch.
02
Door opener and stair lights
NO and C in parallel with the door opener or stair light push button, in pulse mode: a call works like pressing it.
03
Boiler enable
NO and C to the room thermostat input, in bistable or timer mode: relay closed, boiler on.
04
Programmable thermostat with remote input
NO and C to the remote control input: the temperature is set by the programmable thermostat.
05
Resistive load up to 10 A
Live to C, from NO to the load: lights and resistive loads up to 10 A at 240 V AC or 28 V DC.
06
Inductive load above 5 A
NO drives the coil of a contactor, which powers pumps and motors.
07
Remote router restart
C and NC in pulse mode: at rest the router is powered, a call switches it off and restarts it.
08
External 4G antenna
On the LTE connector, when the signal is low (Signal below 10).
Before powering up
Power supply
L / N, 90–240 V AC.
Relay
C / NO / NC to the “start” or “pedestrian” input of the control unit, or directly to the load.
Antennas
The Bluetooth antenna is already fitted; the LTE antenna must always be screwed on, before powering up.
Mounting
On DIN rail, 4 modules (69 × 88 × 57 mm).
SIM
With the BGates SIM it is already inside: do not open the SIM holder. Your own SIM (VoLTE enabled) goes into the upper slot, standard size, chip facing down.
