Is every new guest a key to hand over and then get back, or an access that switches itself off on the day they leave?

The guest arrives at eleven at night and you are a hundred kilometres away.

No key boxes with a code, no neighbour waiting up, no duplicate keys going around.

BGates AI 4G is a module that the installer fits in the gate’s electrical panel, with the 4G SIM already inside. From then on, the gate opens with a phone call, or from the app.

The cleaning team is not a guest: they always come in, but only on certain days and at certain times. With the Business plan you choose the day of the week and the time slot, and the device enforces it when the call comes in.

The limitation, spelled out in full: the time slot applies to people who open by calling. If you also give the cleaner the app, they can open at any time.

Whoever receives access sees the device they are authorised on and nothing else: not the list of other numbers, not the other properties, not the history of who came before them. The name each person gives the device stays theirs.

The users of a gate on the desktop: for each number the days of the week, the time slot, the validity and the status.
The numbers authorised on the front door of a B&B: the owner, the cleaners within a time slot and two guests valid until their day of departure.

With the Business plan, you enter the end date together with the number, and the expiry travels inside the command all the way to the gate. The device enforces it: on the set date that number stops opening, even if it has no data connection at that moment and even if you are on the other side of the world.

Once delivered to the device, the line leaves the list: the expiry lives on the gate and applies even without a network.

Works even without a networkthe end date is written inside the device: on the day of departure the guest’s access switches itself off

Questions and answers

The ones we hear from hosts, with the short answer.

  • Add their number in the management software: the guest gets the invitation on WhatsApp and from then on opens by calling from their own number. With the Business plan you also enter a start date and an end date. On the end date the number stops opening: the device itself enforces the expiry, even if it has no data connection at that moment.
  • No to both. They open by calling the gate’s number, from any phone and even without internet: the device rejects the call and opens, and it costs nothing. The invitation also contains the link to open from the browser.
  • The invitation goes out on WhatsApp; if WhatsApp doesn’t deliver it, a text message with the same link follows. That works for foreign numbers too, written with their country code. And the number opens from the moment you enter it, even before the guest has read the message.
  • With the Business plan you give them days of the week and a time slot, and the device enforces them when the call comes in. The limit, in full: the slot applies to opening by call, so if you also give the cleaner the app, they can open at any time.
  • You need one device per entrance, not per guest: if the four flats share a gate, one device is enough, at €69 incl. VAT. The plan that gives each guest a start and end date and shows the access log is Business, for VAT-registered businesses only: €6.99 a month + VAT paid yearly, plus a one-off €29.99 + VAT activation. The electrical installation goes into the quote.
  • You do, as the device holder, and we keep them on your behalf on servers in Germany; after removal we delete them within 30 days. A guest only sees the gate they’re authorised for: not the other guests, not the other properties, not the history. The notice to give your guests is at app.bgates.it/informativa-utilizzatori.

How many entrances do you have, and how many devices do you need?

Write to us: we’ll tell you how many devices you need and how much it costs, with a written quote.

The screens are examples: they reproduce the real application with names and numbers replaced. Access expiry was verified on a real device on 17 August 2026: command accepted and confirmed by the device.
